DULLSTROOM John Hunter of the Village Angler reports that the fishing has been slow mainly due to the mid-summer water temperatures with surface water often 22°C and above. Most fish have been taken on intermediate and sinking lines. It was a surprise to find that the DFFA club Dam at Jansens measured a water temp of only 16 at 1,5 metres whereas the surface temperature was much higher. Both Town Dam and the Dunkeld dams have been very slow while Millstream is relying on regular stocking during this period...
