The fellows who went out last weekend had good sport in the local estuaries with juvenile kob, kingfish and skipjack and a good adult kingfish was taken in the Gonubie on a popper. Water clarity in the Nahoon and Gonubie is acceptable although lower down in the Nahoon it is a bit polluted. Unfortunately, this appears to be an ongoing problem with the Nahoon which also gets polluted by factories and squatter camps along the river apart from the malfunctioning water treatment plant.
