Recently 7 of the guys from our fly fishing group spent three days fly fishing on the Tongaland coast. We camped at Mabibi which is above Tonga Beach Lodge (Google It) and fished at Mabibi, Island Rock and Lalanek. Fishing off these pristine beaches was fantastic. We caught and released 90 fish including, Ignoblis Kingfish, Big Eye Kingfish, Russell Snapper, Wave Garrick, Bastard Mullet, Rockcod, Lizzard fish and Garfish (see pic). The fish were all small (under 2Kgs) Everyone enjoyed it and we are planning the next trip in the new year when the BIG Kingies arrive !!!
